Museums And Foundations

This section lists various places that qualify as either a museum or foundation-related location. Some of these come from Second Life's Showcase, but let me tell you...some of them are hard to find. Too hard. Here they are.

Exploratorium - The museum of science, art and human perception. Based in San Francisco, this is one of the best-known children's museums in the world. Definitely worth visiting.

Inspire Space Park - Not exactly a museum, but a pretty interesting display of meteors, and other space items. Apparently quite the spot for tai chi.

International Spaceflight Museum - Not run by NASA, but right next door...and from what I can tell they did a better job. Like rockets? Here's the place to go.

Sploland - An exploratorium-inspired museum park, with a ton of family-friendly exhibits. There's a -really- big paperclip here, they must be okay. :)

The Tech Museum Of Innovation - Not the most exciting place on earth, but some interesting exhibits on a variety of subjects. Reminds me of a museum of science and industry.

Virtual Native Lands - A virtual museum dedicated to the culture and history of Native North America.
