Being partial to a certain hobby I must of course list first...
420 Isle Headshop - All around interesting lil' island. Haven't fully explored it but it's good to see "the green" is alive and well in Second Life.
Public Sandbox - If you want to design and sale an item on XstreetSL, you need a place to put your box. I have found such a place.
The Raglan Shire Wharf And Coastal Fort - A community for little people. There's a lot here. Dang.

Public Areas (Linden)
This section lists areas that are well-known to residents of the game, and quite useful if one wants to simply hang out, talk, etc.
Campus: Second Life (EMPTY) - Originally meant for education use in-world, it's now quite simply an empty island. Still...it's somewhere to hide out I suppose.
Help Island Public - A great place to hang out if you want to see people...all the time.
Help Island Public 2 (UNPOPULAR) - Originally meant for a backup or advanced help island, it now seems to have taken on a life of its own as a sandbox.
Zindra Safe Hub - Yet another orientation island-style area, a pretty good place to enter Zindra if the main city area is filled to the brim with people.
Zindra Kama City Civic Center - This is the heart of the new Zindra continent, dedicated exclusively to "Adult" areas...however that works out. Worth taking a peek.
Zindra Kama City Municipal Park - Apparently the public park area of the new Zindra continent, at least it appears as though one can drop things here. Not much in the area, though.
